KK2 board with autolevel under £20
« on: June 20, 2012, 03:55:44 PM »
This is exciting stuff, look how cheap this is. LCD screen built in means you don't need a PC to configure it.

Blimey, not watched the video yet, but I might well order myself one of those! Sounds like a bargain, and I was thinking of buying some 4S lipo's for the Vega anyway :)

I just ordered one right now, £23 delivered you can't argue with that!!! getting it sent down to me, along with this http://rctimer.com/index.php?gOo=goods_details.dwt&goodsid=691&productname=

Gonna build me a quad whilst away, keep me busy :)

Always had better results and higher success rate with multicopters

watched the video...shame they didn't expand on the auto-level facility although the ability to control up to 8 motors and LCD programming is brilliant at that price point (so long as it's not a complete dog).

Got a number of KK boards kicking around the house so can't really justify another one on a whim...my tricopter gets a fair bit of use with a genuine KK controller, my quadlet I've used a handful of times, but have got 2 motors off it currently powering other things :)

RCGroups thread: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1651010&highlight=hk+32bit

even on the MultiWii boards, the auto-level is pretty simple. activated via a switch on your tx (the AUX input pins on the board) basic on/off. there must be a menu item that calibrates and stores what attitude is "level". I bet it's as simple as... put quad on flat surface, click button, wait a few seconds, done.

for that price people, put your order in now, don't wait for stock updates. as many on here will tell you, when popular stuff on hobbyking comes into stock, it shifts pretty quickly.

John, for £23 delivered its worth a shot eh?

Steve, order one now while they're on backorder then you wont have to be "quick" when they're back in stock again.
