I cant seem to get any movement from servos I have done the wizard, my stick movements on the TX show on the calibration screen on mission planner

I have conected the esc signal to M1 and the servos to A0 and A1

I think the servos go on the outputs same as the ESC if you look at the APM setup it has the servos to m1 and m2 and ESC to m3 don't think APM cares if its a motor or servo it is just sending a control signal. So in elevon mode this should be right servo m1 left servo m2 and ESC m3 looking from the back of wing.

Right seems that the APM doesnt do elevon mixing as standard in manual mode (but it will control it as elevons when a stabilized mode is activated)

However it is possible to set it up to do the mixing in manual mode too if I knew how to enter these commands :)

I must have used the (really) old style elevon mixing as I was flying elevon a few years back, that was before a comprehensive manual was available! I seem to remember that I had manual elevon mix, (in manual, signal passes straight through the apm untouched)

There were DIL switches to select elevon mode!  In stabilise mode apm intercepts the signals and modifies them accordingly, I know I had mess around to get the right sense to the servos, but sorry, can't help with the modern version of ArduPlane

Those aren't commands Ben, they're simply parameters in the parameter list
You can change them using APM Planner
I've never used APM on a plane so my knowledge of it is very limited but I have set up countless on multi's

Tecnic beat me to it lol yeah plug APM in go to configuration tab at top and then advanced parameters on left side scroll down and you will see rc1-rev rc2- rev and elevon_output to get the servos moving in right directions. Think its just a case of trial and error to see which combination works, then it should mix the elevons in all modes.

Right well I screwed up the motor by over tightening the grub screw when trying to get the last little bit of movement out of the shaft (after reversing the shaft and grinding a new flat and circlip slot), now the grub screw is completely rounded and stuck in, good job they are cheap as I'll just order another, this time from EU HK as they have the screw on prop adaptor in stock which means I dont need to reverse the shaft.

On a positive note the elevon mixing is working as it should in both manual mode and stabilized mode although I did have to reverse the elevator on my TX to get it right   :-\

Next job is hook up the GPS and try to get that working, I also just need to make a simple Cam/VTX/OSD harness.

Weight without lipo is currently 655grams round that up to 700grams for bits and pieces not yet in like apm case some magnets to keep the canopy on etc. Also it requires a 375gram lipo to balance so looking at an AUW of a smidge less than 1.1KG

Just ordered a 3s 4000mah 40c turngy lipo and another motor  :D
