Chaps! Or rather Mr ben. I'm thinking a smallish 12v lead acid motorcycle battery for the 22" tv.  Question is how much Ah do you think will be good for an hour or two? 4a 7a 12a? Don't wanna lug a massive battery around if its not needed. I can use the car battery for most part but just in case I find a nice remote location I cant get the car onto. And cos the 22" Is just small enough to build into a Large case for a rather large ground station. It just about qualify's for me. I have a camping trip coming up in the welsh valleys could be fun!

Probably an odd question but you may be able to help.

Actually the batt will probably be powering a lipo charger (which I don't have yet)  to charge 1-2 3s packs a couple of times perhaps.

Well the fact that I might need to charge a lipo or two on the field spoils that idea. guess Ill be lugging a car battery around after all.

i use van battery for my charger, however my car battery would probably need a run to keep it topped up if i used it for charging

Or you could get the sunsky 400mW (same tx?)
http://www.sunsky-online.com/view/13085/1.2GHz+400mW+8+Channel+Digital+Wireless+AV+transmitter+%26+receiver.htm

It has the same channels, minus the 1258gHz
1.08GHZ/1.12GHZ/1.16GHZ/1.2GHZ/1.24GHZ/1.28GHZ/1.32GHZ/1.36GHZ

$60. What you do is keep the vTx and throw away the vRx

See the pics, is it the same as yours Ben?
I see the sunsky site offer:
Quote
OEM are Welcome! we can print customer's artwork and company logo

I guess they are the same and that extra channel is programmable either by resistors or firmware...

got a new one through the post today from RMRC and opened it up and it does look identical to the one pictured above
