Nope just over thinking it, the servo's are physically mirrored so no need for reserving,

I had a Twinstar a while back. Spent ages building it as my perfect FPV plane. On the first long-range flight, I had broken my UHF antenna without realising. Crashed 30 secs after takeoff and completely ruined
I cut some 1/4" ply mounts and epoxied them in place. I also gouged out a small slot for them to fit in. Counter-rotating props are useful if you haven't tried them already. I really wouldn't trust the plastic mounts.
If I recall correctly, I was using some 2217 motors and it took off from the ground by itself (no wheels or anything). Flew at 1/4 throttle, was great. The motors you've got in there should be more than big enough though.
And I just realised that the last post was 15th august... You flown it yet?

Yep, if anyone was thinking of getting a TSII, just pull the trigger cos they are brill. They fly soo well and put a brushless set-up in with a Cyclops Storm OSD and you have a top notch FPV plane.
Have posted a vid or two of my early flights and between this and my Zephyr it's been a great month of flyin.
Big thanks for all your help on parts and set-up

looks great bud!
I will be getting some of those metal gear servos as mentioned in a previous post , Just wondering what you did for motor mounts In the end?
I had a motor eject itself from the plastic mounts on my first flight.

I got rid of the plastic mounts because of vibration issues with motors, I know you can get stock metal mounts but had trouble finding a vendor that would just sell the mounts on there own and when I did they were just silly money for what they were.
I took of the old mounts and copied them using ally, so far they are really good and because they are made from aluminium they act as a heat sink as well (not an issue)
