These could be pretty good if the foam is good quality

From all accounts I've read on other forums, people are very impressed with the quality of this aircraft.

I've just ordered the power setup for it from hobbyking. 755W 1250kv 3542 motor (aerodrive SK3) and 60A ESC. will be running it on 10x6 fixed prop first (graupner aeronaut cam power prop) and will assess the requirement for folding setup in the future.

I already have a crap load of MG90S servos, so I'm sorted for the elevons and pan/tilt setup.

only things I need now are the Storm OSD and the UHF system... still completely undecided which one to get. Whether I should spend the money on a taranis and get a cheaper OpenLRS uhf system, or keep my turnigy 9x and buy the EzUHF module... along with the expensive receivers.

Looked easy to launch , I'm not sure why I did when all my fpv gear is in storage lol, but coming on here makes me do silly things :( , so I order one from hk last night as they were in stock in uk, I got all parts needed spare anyhow, don't think I'll bother with the pan n tilt, but looks to fly well

Will prolly use a 900kv right wing motor on it

I have a spare dragon link setup here if you need a Lrs corps , make me an offer

Will do when I build, got lots on at moment, what do you think about quality the foam itself seems pretty solid, will prolly fix my wings so they can't be removed and add a spar and laminate , not made my mind up about pan and tilt yet , did yours come with a reflective dome .?

I don't know mate, I'm still in Afghan and my Go Discover arrived at home whilst I was away. havent had eyes on yet.
with one of my 60/40 split seats down, I can easy get a SkyHunter in my car with minimal dismantlement (is that a word lol?) so this will be easy.

I also plan on keeping the wings as a permanent attachment. although I won't laminate, I might put in an extra carbon fibre strip in each wing, then glue and fibre tape over where they join to the fuselage.

I'll try out pan and tilt at least once or twice whilst flying. I'll built it that way first but I have a suspicion that I wont use it... I never do. I always used to forget I even had a pan servo lol, whole flights of GS footage with no panning whatsoever. so I stopped doing it.

although, I do admit, seeing the 360 deg pans from some fpvers skywalkers and such, is pretty cool

Uk warehouse ones seem to have reflective dome, one thing I've noticed is the dome does not twist off like rv jet , will prolly be best making tiny hole to put rod in to turn go pro on. Prolly going to make balsa control surfaces also with zephyr style taped hinges, it's far from an exact copy but after watching many vids it seems to fly nice , many builds seem to fly much more stable at slow speeds and landing , fingers crossed :)

looks really good Jet,

could you link me to the parts you used to install the folding prop onto the Aerodrive SK3 motor please.

I too have bought a SK3 motor for my Go Discover but havent' a clue what to buy in order to put a folding prop on it.
