regardless of how much power is pumped through these things, their biggest downfall is the fact that they're transmitting on 5.8GHz.

5.8 is not good for flying anywhere near objects... fly behind a leaf and you'll lose picture.

you'd be better off buying the 32ch 600mw 5.8ghz one and getting some good circularly polarised antennas for it and the receiver.... less likely to set fire to your aircraft too
