Motor shows plenty of power on launch, looks like it was a good choice!

Wing looks nice and clean! Think I'll attack mine next week...

that's a good self launch technique for a wing, pretty much just lob it over your shoulder.

ZXL is looking sweet Ben, something to aim for in the future perhaps... baby steps for me in the world of FPV wings

70amp, even with the 13x8 prop the 70 amp current sensor is plenty

so im not happy with the way its flying at the moment, nose bobbing vertically at all speeds and generally flying crap, need to converse with Mr Click to troubleshoot

I have an 80 amp cheapo one, will test it see if if works as advertised!

Nose bobbing up and down, That's a weird one! I have experienced that with light wings, coupled with too aggressive elevator control in high winds. Is the CofG too far back? Most of my wings prefer well forward CofG, like 20% ish. Main issue usually with wings is adverse yaw! The Vega yaws quite badly in my opinion, but that is something you can get used to (or try to cure)

I'm taking advantage of the two section elevon's to test a theory I have (a different way to control the wing) will explain more later! Decided to use a spare apm, cut out all the recesses yesterday, cable runs to do next, waiting on esc's batteries, ext leads, more or less stuck until that arrives

cofg too far back usually comes with nose diving down with slightest down elevator and hard to fly level and land, especially into wind.Could be weak servos or loose control rods also.

sure could tell on video which way wind was blowing.lol

Ben, I believe your using single Elevon's, are your servos adequate?, slop in linkage??
That's the only thing I can think of that might cause that...

Filled mine yesterday, sanding down then spray glue today, Paint tomorrow, might be ready by end of week, maybe...

What weight Lam did you use on the Elevon's?

According to Chris@ritewing the cog should be 11" from the nose I initially tried it at 10" from the nose and now have it at about 10 3/4" from the nose so I dont think its doing it because is tail heavy. Its got Chris stumped too but there are a few things Im going to try.
