Just a couple of mobile phone pictures of my progress so far
Been sinking in the electronics tonight ... I like my birds as efficient as possible.

Btw thats a EzUHF rx and a Bevrc 2.4ghx VTX

2200 3s and HK OSD.
Really, keep it under 800g or so and you'll be laughing. The Storm is an exact enlargement of the Slipstream by 10" and that wasn't happy over 1kg, so that's about a 25% enlargement.
Looks nice though!

We'll see what it weighs finished with no lipo, I aint cutting the lipo in until its 100% done then I can get the COG perfect without and additional weights.
Here's another photo, all wires embedded now.

Cheers Mark, now before its covered it weighs 700g with a 2450mah 3s and a heavy wdr600 cased, I may get an uncased cam for it to save on weight, that weight included winglets, elevons etc.

I find my slipstream (slope version) is happy at 600g or so. Heavier is fine, most it been is just under 1Kg in 60MPH wind. It managed to break the control horns in the air LOL

800g .... my god I need to do something with mine then at 1200g.
It's quite old tho and a bit too far gone to be worth trying to fix. Will probably just pick up a new builders kit and built a new one.
What motor you gone with ben? Looks real nice and clean!

Thanks!
Well I got a couple of motor knocking about, if they dont perform Im going to get a new one but I have a A2826/6 2200kv to try first.
Now even with the heavy cased wdr600 camera its looking at 766g with a 2450 3s or 815g with a 3000 3s thats pretty good I think!
