All finished weighs 821 grams AUW with 3000mah 3s

had to put the lipo right forward to get it to balance at about 17cm, it balances at the recommend 18cm with a 2450mah lipo

Cant wait to fly it. Oh I tested the motor thrust with some scales and the 5.5x4.5 prop and Im getting 550g of thrust. Should be ok to start with.

Ben, will these servos fit the slipstream? http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=9392
reason i ask is that i have 4 of them on the way from there now, was gonna use 2 of them to put flaps on the raptor, but the slipstream is becoming a desirable option right now

Having a go at converting the slipstream to 6S today.

Bought this motor for it, and an 85amp ESC :)

Finally got everything fitted and ready to go, but motor just sat there buzzing and spewing smoke. Grrr. Will be another week before the model shop stock a replacement for it.

Can't wait until it arrives, according to specs it's capable of sustaining 1400W! I might yet enter the 1km round trip competition :)

OK. It is official. You are absolutely crazy.

Not quite as crazy as the guy with the 2000W Microjet... Search in on Youtube :)

Oh yeah, and I completely forgot about the AR6200! I will get it sent first thing Monday.

Well I was looking at the 2w25 but these motors are so heavy, how on earth are you going to balance it?

Hehe - I know it's a bit OTT, just wanted something silly to do this weekend. Calculated pitch speed at around 170mph on a 5.5 x 4.5 :)

The 6S 2200MaH battery weighs a fair amount, I managed to lay out the components and have it balance properly by changing the battery placement.

Instead of the battery being sat horizontally across the nose, I've laid it vertically so its aligned with the motor. It's a little bit too high to fit flush with the airframe, but fingers crossed it shouldn't mess with the airflow too much.

Just need the model shop to get a replacement motor sent now...

LOL wicked!

If my slipstream can go up with 2x2200 3S packs and all the FPV gear yours will do to. 6S will be mental!
