Not kidding about hobby king stuff. I have just had to give my wallet to the the wife to stop me from buying the new gyro copter they have just brought out. It looks ace and is crying out for some FPV gear. Next year baby !

Settled on a KK red board with the mems board for this tri.

Well that didnt take long ! Stealth Tri arrived in  a well packed box today  ;D

I have to say im really impressed. The quality of the moulding is nothing short of amazing !

If you like multi's, trust me get one of these. No idea how it will fly but it just looks soooo good !

Some pics after unpacking next to my Discovery (pics really dont do it justice).

Hey - the fiber glass is only 2mm thick - i would say it is similar to the canopy of a 450 copter (maybe a little more rigid) but the wooden frame work stiffens it up.

Damn it i ordered 1000kv motors from rctimer and the postie has just delivered 880kv ones ??

Need some advice , should i go for it ? Ive no idea of the diffence between 880 and 1000, other than the 880kv should swing a slightly larger prop.

Should i send the 880's back??

My tri uses 750KV DTS motors swinging 10 inch props.  It's absolutely fine...carries gopro and all fpv/OSD gear no problem at all.

there you have it then :)

I had 9" on my 1000kv motors with 3S and thought it could have done with bigger props. my rule of thumb has always been 1000kv motors and 10"  props

I will give it a go then, i will try the 880kv;s with 10 x 4.7's and see how it goes. I have some 11 inch props i can try as well.

Does anyone have any experience in putting this lot together for a tri (red kk board, mems and encoder)?

I'm a bit unsure how the ppm encoder fits into the equation when using a spectrum rx
