Antennas for everybody
« on: January 10, 2012, 02:38:05 PM »
Hey everyone,

Thought the first post might need updating :)

Since these UHF / FPV antennas are ridiculously priced all over the web, I thought I'd offer you guys some quality built antennas for less (helps fund my crazy projects lol)

Here is what I've made so far:

Skew/ Clover antennas tuned to any frequency:
   - 30 a set
   - 20 a piece

5800 pics:

1280 pics

Dipole UHF antennas:
  - 10 a piece :)

Sander Style UHF Antennas
   - 20 a set
   - 15 a piece

--------------------

Other custom waco antenna ideas: PM me and we'll work something out :)

Cheers,
Mihai.

100% count me in mate, I can give you £30 in advance if you need. I'll need a set of 5.8ghz if that's ok? can you do one with a right angle sma connector for an immersionRC vtx? I tend to have my vtx's either lying down or on their side :)

Chris

do you need a specific frequency in the 5.8 range? if so I'll need to go check which one I'm using :)

Noted you down :) right angle shouldn't be a prob I guess. I'll see how many more want some antennas and I can get right on it :)

payment after I have them done, have taken pics and everyone is happy :)

Cheers,
Mihai.

Quick heads-up: rest of the raw materials are on the way (eta 10 days) and will have enough for 5 sets (10 antennas)

Cheers,
Mihai.

hey mate :)
Finally got my sma pigtails and I can start making antennas. Are you still interested in a pair ? if so, please tell me the exact channel you're using, frequency and how you like the cable to be fed (vertical or sideways)

Cheers,
Mihai.

Mihai, yup. still interested. I'm away from home at the moment so I can't look at my VTX to see what exact frequency/channel I'm using. As soon as I get home (this weekend) I'll take a look and let you know. Thanks

I can confirm these work a treat and better than the duckies you get with fatsharks

and the other duckies that come with other sets like the rc305 5.8ghz set ups

Mihai, I'm still on for a 5.8 clover/skew set if thats still ok.

I have no idea what frequency I'm using though I can't see any documentation anywhere. I'll do my best to find out tonight, but if I get it wrong will it massively impact the performance?

say for example I tell you 5840 and I end up using a different frequency? I guess my question really is are you able to make a generic 5.8ghz skew/clover set?

I really REALLY would like a set of these, like I say I have the money in my paypal accout just waiting for your word :)
