I need some techy help

Bit of a puzzler this one...

My Ezcap continues to misbehave

Pixim Seawolf/Sony Effio 650tvl
Foxtech 200mw 5.8 tx, Foxtech 5.8 R305 rx
Genuine Ezcap

Vaio Laptop
Windows 7, proper drivers for Ezcap and W7

Security cams do this

My Horyzon HD cam doesn't do that often but will sometimes

I have disabled motion detection from within the menus of both my Pixim Seawolf and my Sony Effio 650tvl and they both still do it

Oddly if I try to click on the capture button when the image is b&w and scrolling the software reports that it has no video signal, it will start to record if there is movement and the video is static/colour

So, any tech head boffins here can shine some light on this ?

Driving me ruddy nuts trying to figure it out

Do you think its the easycap? What sotware are you recording with? Have you tried different software? Does the software let you try different video settings? (Pal/ntsc)

Yes, Arcsoft and VLC, yes, yes (tried them all)

Looks like I've managed to sort it out now
Though the instructions told me to download a specific driver for W7 I didn't realise that was just an updated audio driver, there was another set of drivers for W7 and that seems to have sorted it out
