Well finally I got my RVOSD installed and set up on a plane as well as that I got my HoryzonHD cam on there too

All set up on my Raptor

Why is it that maidens are so nerve racking ?
Well I suppose it's because there's a few new things on the plane plus of course all the time and money

Anyway, new ESC, motor, prop camera and OSD

It all went well except for my AHI freezing before I even launched, it's likely that I failed to allow it 30secs to calibrate but I'm not sure and didn't notice as it was launched and flown LOS

Anyway, loving the Raptor with a cam on board, it's less twitchy than my Skysurfer in the gusts, it's faster and the RVOSD uses gyros so RTH should be more reliable
The Horyzon HD Camera is ace, far better for flight than a GoPro in my opinion
One current major drawback for you guys using UHF is that it is very very noisy UHF wise, it's being fixed as I type but right now it'll ruin your range
For me I fly on 2.4 so no big deal right now

The video was taken at dusk so there wasn't a lot of light and as the cam shares the same image sensor as a GoPro it understandably doesn't perform great in low light, still good quality though, in bright daylight it's fantastic and with far more natural colours than a GoPro

I need to get the plane's power sorted out with the new motor and a GWS 3 blade prop it was rubbish, just about managed to launch it, trouble is a stiffer 3 blade prop causes too much vibration which may upset the gyros
I'll go out later today for some more testing hopefully
