Gopro 960 with Sunex lense

Well since I had a crash with my new gopro I have had a dot on the images/video taken I couldnt see any scratches on the lense so I decided to remove the lense today as I though the problem was inside, well I managed to crush the lense whilst pulling it off and it as a speck of dust on the sensor as suspected. I have now ordered a sunex lense from readymaderc for £35 delivered. People having mixed results with it, I do like the original fisheye FOV but I going to give this a shot. I will post some video from the gopro960 with sunex lense once it arrives!

Cool. Does the original gopro allow you to alter FOV? The 2 does only if shooting at 1080 30fps.

No you can't the fov changes when you change modes but you can't then change the fov within the mode selected like you can with the gopro2

Fitted the sunex lense this morning to my gopro, when I got home from work I tried to focus it when it was hooked upto the tv. Then I shot a quick video to check it ... well its not far off maybe a little tweaking, Im going to fly with this tomorrow. So will post a flight video then!

Fantastic video
I can see the Sunex lens has its uses, there it is very good. If you're on a quad or something like that then I personally prefer the original wide angle.

I think the sunex lens wakes up the gopro and the picture is far more realistic than the standard gopro one
Has anyone found any other outlets other than Tim ??
