It was weak through the middle, thinking back it used to start to oscillate during high speed runs, where I would not fly fast because the footage would get wobbly. I don't think the spars were very well glued in. So it broke apart during a high speed dive after it start shaking makes me believe it just wasn't stiff enough.

But this one I've built plywood box around battery bay and added some ply to the underside too. I've had 130mph coming out of a high speed dive and it's solid..

Surprised you got one, what's wrong with the Alulah? I woulda thought that's a better plane in general as long as you've got the space?

alulah isnt ideal for holding a gopro (out on the wing) as I get vertical bounces on the footage unless it was dead calm, plus I feel I can abuse a zephyr a bit more flying low and through trees etc, slipstream was ok but it caught the wind easy and couldnt really take a gopro, any pictures of your new zep2?

Ahh that's just shattered my idea that the alulah is a perfect plane I can't imagine how stiff you need those wings to be to stop wing flex like that. Never thought about that

This is my second zeph and I haven't spent as much time making it beautiful, this is a airplane not something to go on my mantle piece

I have LED's on a RC switch for night flying

I like the yellow and black on the leading edge, glad you kept that from the last one.
