yup, you can see gopro feed days 50fps which is PAL only (NTSC would be 60fps)

so reading that link mark posted it says its the switcher is not great, it doesn't completely isolate each signal or something, just plays one other the other, as you see your fpv cam osd flickers over your gopro video. they said this switcher solved the problem

Well I dont have either of those switchers, I have the GT power one, last time I set this up I had the gopro without OSD feed, so Im gonna try that when I get time but its getting close to flying time today so no more tinkering ;)

Do you have any of the signal power pins connected? or multiples, like the 5v from the GoPro?

I had channel separation issues with all the other cheaper ones but the GT Power (which I think I originally recommended to you) are flawless, never had a problem.

when you say signal do you mean video? I had GND and Video from gopro to switcher, GND & video from FPV cam to switcher and then I had osd & vtx on the output from switcher so another GND & Video connected, previously I had the OSD on the fpv cam side and that seemed to work ok!

Its all been ripped out now anyway as Im in the middle of putting pichawk in it and minim osd so will try again once I got this new FC up any running!

Ben,

I am pretty sure that your video switcher modifies the video sync pulse. When this happens you get similar problems. So check with a scope if your video signal is the same as without a switcher. I am pretty sure that your video signal is modified by the switcher.

Let me know if you can solve the problem.
