Ok,
so had so much go wrong lately. Killed esc after esc trying to run oneshot. so ben kindly leant me a set of emax 12a, but obviously he wants them back in same condition he gave them to me. So I've not flashed any firmware or chopped any wires. So the whole thing looks a bit messy. also I had to solder some esc plugs on as I couldn't get header pins onto the board as all the pin holes are blocked with solder from when I hard wired it.

Also on my old board there was some kind of internal short somewhere as I was getting continuity between every neg and pos pin and pad on the board. Unfortunately I had already plugged esc's bec into power board and it got rather warm fairly fast  :-[ sorry ben. Now I've wired up the back up board that bec that got rather warm is powering naze fine but it is warming up a little. Should I use a different esc to power board just to be safe? Or is it normal foe esc that powers naze to warm up. Been that long since I've flown I can't even remember?

The naze is lighting up so there can't be a direct short on that particular board.

Yes if a bec is used, its normal for that ESC to get a bit warmer than the others!

Yes its been a long time! Give us a shout if you need some flying tuition! lol

What were the escs you had problems with! Was it your actions or the ESC didn't like clean flight?

this is a different naze that does work, my other one would only power off usb, wouldn't accept power anywhere else and multimeter  showed there was continuity between pos and neg at ever pin on board, the escs i killed were 12a blue series 2 of the 4, and the f20a hobbyking esc, all just intermittent, probably could of fixed it by reflashing with simonk, it was blheli and oneshot that the esc's didn't like, someone else on other forum was having same issues with same escs as me. he finally got his in the air but one failed on him in flight, for what its worth he said they were great while they lasted. these emax ben has lent to me are blheli but not not going to update firmware and enable oneshot
