Uff ..finally got my new prop. balancer from ebay.
Cost me 20£ and it's really good quality made.
This is how it looks and working really nice.Magnetic balance with nice tiny bearings.
Just hope my quad vibrations will dissapeard now ,also waiting for better engine mounts for 12mm carbon tube.

Looks good, but can it balance the hub too? I mean is it tall enough for the prop to go vertical? I want a magnetic one that can take upto a 12" prop, also marcin you may need to balance the motors thats something I havent done yet

Looks good- will try to copy it!
Magnetic ones, at least the simple , ignore the polarity that develops in the shaft itself- quite easy to see.

You may need to balance the bell of your outrunner motors, I saw on Rc explorer that David uses a cable tie or 2 around the motor and turns them round till he finds the sweet spot with no vibration, it works because the latching part of the cable tie is the heavy point and its just like adding weights to your wheels on your car to balance.

Sorry to rain on the parade guys this has to be one of the worst prop balancers there is unless they have now sorted out the balance on the bobbins or you have a cnc machine or laith to re balance them
I had one of these and thought my props wheren't too bad used this and stuffed a couple of props
you may want to try this before you put a prop on it - Place the bar across with the two bobbins on and mark the bottom(lowest point) take off and repeat the process and see where the line ends up (£1 say time after time it will be the bottom)
