First flight with my Tarot T810

I've been building a Tarot T810 for a while www.maciej.se/T810.html

I was finally able to do a maiden flight this weekend

Still some configuration left before I can start filming with it. Really satisfied with the performance of Pixhawk FC, the hexa was really stable in GPS Hold mode

Looked at your build thread! Very interesting!

Couple of thoughts!

Those antenna on the 3DR radios, I would change (at least the airborne one). A decent strike and it will rip the SMA connector off the pcb.

My spare 3DR radios are very old (MK1) I had to make a lead up for connection to my pixHawk! No commercial ones available!

Wondered why you decided on using a six way switch! Do you think it will be easy to know what flight mode you are switched to?

I have Droid planner on Android but not used it in anger yet, much prefer the larger screen of a Laptop, but then, my eyesight is probably not as good as yours!

You say the current sensor on the Power module has failed before! Is this even when drawing much less than the rated 90 amps?

I thought that if I crash so badly that the antenna rips off then the radio is my smallest problem ;-)

Yes, for me it will be quite easy, if I start in the middle I'm in Stabilize, one click to the right I'm in Alt Hold, two steps to the right I'm in Loiter, one step to the left I'm in Position Hold, two steps to the left I'm in Circle mode and three steps to the left I'm in Landing mode. The radio also has a spoken message telling me in which position I'm in.

Don't have any info about how much power they have been drawing when the power modules failed. I don't feel that I need to have current monitoring so I'm bypassing it instead of risking a failure.
