i have a 1/3 sony ccd 600 tvl camera ...after getting it all on my plane in the house and looking fine i took off and within 1 min its starts to go black and white to the point there is no in between...just pitch back or white ..now the out side temp was below 10 degrees f or -12 c..but once the camera warmed up all color was back ...did not matter if plane was flying or on the ground ..it says there good down to below zero ...in the end i went to walmart and got 2 security camera for less than my other camera took out just the board and camera and the cold dose not seem to affect them...has anyone else had this problem in the cold ? or am i the only guy that flys when its near zero lol

Did you do and white or color balance options in the menu inside in artificial light
I've had with cams if you set them up inside get strange things when outside

Gopro got an internal heater, at least the mk1 did, probably why its not effected by the cold, Have you tried to put some lagging around your board camera?

I tried just about everything even pushing the camera against my window. ..for like 20 min..as soon as i moved to the other side of the window...outside it rapidly got bad....well its to darn cold to fly anyway..

We don't get those temperatures here!
There is a guy on here called traxxalu that drives his rc trucks on a frozen lake, He don't appear to have video problems, perhaps you could have a word with him, see what cameras (or precautions) he uses! but keep it on the forum, would be interested to find out more!
here is his latest thread

Did some coldweather flights my self to. In some camera's the ccd/ cmos chip will bend during extreme weather conditions. Discovered that some camera's get a distorted image. Some others freezed white in air (think there was some moisture in the camera which freezed to my lens)
i never have seen your issue before.
