dragonlink link servo test
« on: January 20, 2015, 08:09:46 PM »
Just wondering if anyone has an answer or help...my dragonlink seems to be working fine ..but when i put it in servo test mode i lose signal about 50 feet away it almost seems as if its in micro power mode at the same time as the servo test....

Think Dragon link was designed by the same guy as RangeLink, Believe they are very similar setups! The servo test would be in micro mode (1mW from memory), its just to set a reference range the actual distance is not important, 50 ft sounds fine!

The idea is to walk away until the servo stops moving, that will be your reference range, had it been on full power you would need to walk to the next county!

That is a of course presuming the servo test is the same on both systems.

well if the blue lights on that means i still have connection and it stayed on solid well i drove for a 3/4 mile on low  ..but that's on a really forested road.. when i got up on a hilly spot or a clearing id get it back ..even a 2 miles out . its not super far but the transmitter was 4 feet up and i was in a car .
