ZMR 250 - First flight in FOG!!!

Took the mini out today but conditions were horrible ...

The crash was due to looking across the cricket pitch in fog - just couldnt tell what my altitude was with no visual reference.

well that didnt go to bad! however you got some jello, did you fit the anti jello plate for the mobius oir just strap it straight on?

Yeh that was just some velcro and elastic bands, ill get the plate added

Those anti jello plates work amazingly well. I get less jello on my mini than I do my QAV400.  Well actually there both about the same. Only annoying thing is when you crash and bobbins pop out. Not that easy to get back in can take like 10 minutes to do all 4 sometimes. Apart from that they're great

Yeah those bobbins are a nightmare. Even worse on the emax 250 holes be Tiny! I had a similar flight with my RCX/ZMR in similar conditions total white out at times . Glad I had the minim osd to tell me I was 60 meters hight or I would have pooped a bit.
