My second near maybe F up of the day

So I accidently powered on my vTx with out an antenna connected... LUCKILY it was only for a second or two afterwhich I realized my mistake and yanked the plug. Seems to work fine still... Do you think it damaged the vTx at all and will affect its range or something? Im about to fly with it(Fatshark 250mw 5.8G) but it will be a cautious flight anyways so hopefully it should be a problem. Has anyone had experience with this?

theres a good chance you've done some damage, you might of got lucky but there's no way to tell for sure without a power meter of guess you could just do a range test. i had a 500mw that was only putting out 75mw after an antenna came off in a crash, also over heating might cause this problem

Damage occurs when the reflected power due to poor swr heats up output stage , if only for a few seconds it will be fine but > 20 secs is when you have to worry realy with 500mw tx
