Antenna Frequency?
«
on:

Hi, I just bought a set of cloverleaf+spw antennas for my first FPV setup but after so research I noticed that my Tx frequencies are
:5645, 5665, 5685, 5705, 5885, 5905, 5925, 5945
while my antenna freq. are 5725-5875
since the closest match is the 5885(CH5) thats what I have the Tx and Rx set to but I'm just wondering what kind of affect the small frquency difference is and if any of my equipment can be damaged by being used at the wrong frequency. Will it simply impede the range and quality? or do I need to worry about damaged gear from the small amount of time I have used the setup so far that was not at Ch5? Thanks for any information you have.

No you won't cause any damage to your equipment. You should deffo fly off chanel 5 though as if that's what they are cut to then you may as well use that channel. To be honest you probably won't see that much difference between all the channels. Only way you will damage your vtx is to power it with no antenna on at all. As the antenna adds resistance. You can power the vrx without a antenna though. Welcome to the forum mate. Hope you stick around
Oh also supplying your gear with the wrong voltage could damage it also of course
