This is good, will last a long time and improve your soldering no end, also use it when using flux cored solder

Well just done my second and it went equally bad as the 1st lol will order flux soon. It was that same pin again  convinced they've done something to it like coated it in something. That's my excuse anyway

should have done a vid lol,

seriously soldering is better with the right gear , get yaself flux , helping hands , damp sponge , good little iron don't have to expensive

flux also useful DE soldering if you put a tiny bit on braid

Yeah I'm 2 for 2 but wanted to sell one but I wouldn't be happy if I bought something that looked like that. So not going to sell it

Lol Dave, really nothing to be embarrassed about. I'm sure its not standard solder on there.

Ive done tons of soldering in the past and that one pin on mine was a complete pain too. I had flux, braid and solder vacuum pump.

I ended up buying a new high temp soldering iron (The last one was about 30 years old lol). Managed it but I wouldnt post a pic of mine nmow either. Surprised it still works.
