you could easily cruise 15km out at low throttle even with this stupidly powerful setup, you would need some kind of stabilisation to keep the wings level when landing and then point it to a field and hope for the best

Funjet electrics are going in a new fuse. This time I am laminating the stabs and the wings.

Stabs done, fuse masked ready for spray glue, Im giving it a coat of 3m90 glue before I laminate

would one of those 3 axis gyro stabilisation wotsits do a decent job of compensating for the torque roll?

not sure, maybe the control surfaces dont have enough authority at low speeds, anyway torque roll isnt a problem when launching vertical, just let it spin!

Ok so now the wings are laminated and the gps, vtx and uhf rx have been carved into place on the underside of the wing. Camera sunk into nose too.

Waiting on some 5 min epoxy now so I can pour a nice coat down the inside of the fuse over the additional spar.

ooo er  8)

130amps 2500watts on my older half charged 6s lipo, my watt meter is only rated to 130amps so I guess I need to look for a better one!
