well tbh everytime I take her over 200kmph I expect the thing to disintegrate in the air kinda like my ZXL did, gonna test new power set up today with some apc props but they flex like hell so some cam speed carbons have been ordered for next weekend, then we shall see the top speeds.

Well yesterday the bungee launch failed twice in a row the thing is too fat even for that, 2nd time it skided along upside down and now the exposed board cam is fubarred. I have ordered a smaller profile cased cam from sc2000 which measures 30mmx30mm on the face http://www.securitycamera2000.com/products/540TVL-SONY-CCD-Mini-FPV-Camera-with-Built%252din-MIC-2.8mm-Lens.html and am going to try a vertical launch technique next time

If that cam turns out too large, there is always the Fatshark RCV922 cam Hard cased 25 x 25mm case. quite reasonable video, for it's size!

Start with this for fastest FPV for now with a APC 6x4 prop, now I'm going to start playing with graupner cam speed props :)

Yeah cheers for launching chris you did a great job both times  :D :D Video is just uploading next time I will try the good props and try to tip 300kmph, was only 1600w at WOT that motor has at least an extra 1000w to give with the right prop/lipo combo.

Yeah 1km up in less than 20 seconds or 4.5km per minute horizontal, you ready to come flying again soon?

Mark I'm gonna stick my neck out and say this is an unofficial fpv speed world record, I have searched and not found anything as fast as this.

I reckon you're on to something here Ben.

barring a turbine jet powered aircraft, I reckon you probably couldn't get much faster... not without completely destroying an aircraft. Nothing else I can think of, even exists that is designed to go that fast.
