just tested mobius lens protector and it shows up in the video mate  needs to be shorter or wider

@Dave, you would think the designer would have check this right! Well my mobius is playing up I think the battery has died so not been able to test it this morning although I have tried! I think I have a spare battery from my first mobius somewhere.

i unscrewed the lens a bit trying to get it off now my lens is loose and cant find right size alan key to fit it

you get one with it, just managed to check mine and its in shot a little bit, will sand 1-2mm off back, that should do it!

by time you've sanded 2mm off there might not be that much protection there. handy just to  help find it though i guess, i might do it myself, but only got tiny files i got to sand the holes out on that frame you sold me will take ages

Reading between the lines it appears that industry mainly uses abs because it is more stable (all round) than pla, hobbyists use pla because it gives a sharper print and it smalls nicer while printing.

I had loads of issues with my k8200 with the printed object lifting off the heated base until I started using a wood glue / water mix to make the base 'grabby'. Just incase any one else has that issue.

for sure but I just changed over to PLA and incase of heat you need ABS ones to let me get some PLA prints under my belt first before I change back

My first print, it is tiny, 15mm high, 1.5mm walls. Drew it up in cad, saved as stl, opened it in cura and saved the files, never thought the cross tube would ever print but they came out better than expected, next time will some build in some supporting structures...

is that ABS or PLA? you might get better results with PLA and slower nozzle with good fan cooling on the part

PLA, Printed the part again today and was quite a bit better, only slight drooping on the lower side of the cross arms!

Had some success (and a failure today) vid to follow! Youtube fails to upload, screen just looks at me, Obviously I'm not paying google enough money!
