I'd be happy to give it a bash, built a zep1, zep2, zepXL, Zep quadspar, and half way through building a Zep3, also built a couple of smaller wings like this which I was never a fan of TBH preferred the way the larger ones flew, would be interesting to see how this flies compared to a ritewing TW40 or a slipstream.

Think you have some sort of chip on your shoulder! I never started out rejecting your small foam wing, only its high price, yet all I have seen from you is Attitude!

Quote
instead of talking everything mad here you should know that we are settled in switzlerand. So no VAT or TAX will apply here on checkout. You have to pay it on receive (depends on each country).

It was YOU who said it was manufactured in Germany, not me!

Now you say that it is of German manufacture and you are exporting from Switzerland it makes the price worse!

I can see from that statement that VAT is NOT included at checkout as VAT alone  would amount to $38.25

EU free trade aggrement applies so no import duty, however vat will be added£24.36 which will also trigger courior handling charge

Broken down thus:

Importing from:    Switzerland
Importing to:           United Kingdom

Product description:    Rc Plane
Product category:    Radio-controlled or Motorised Toy
Product value:    US$149.00
Country of manufacture:    Germany

Shipping costs:    US$35.00

Total customs value (CIF):    £121.82    This is the amount that customs values import at
- Duty:    £0.00    FTA has been applied
VAT:    £24.36
Total import duty & taxes due:    £24.36    This is the amount that needs to be paid to customs
Total landed cost:    £146.18    This is the total cost of importing, including product, shipping, import duty & taxes
at exchange rate of 1 GBP = 1.59 USD

Courier handling fee, say £14 (can be much higher) so final price = £160.18  ($251.6)

Fourthly: What the hell is your Problem? Why you have to call our kit lump of foam? If you aren't able to make a constructive criticism here please keep your mouth shut. If you dont like it or you think its too expensive no Problem.

It's quite obvious that you started this thread with closed ears, and you still have closed ears, So I can only guess that  this is a glimpse of your customer relations ability! I pity anyone buying anything from you, especially if they then need to get any after sales help! Oh and foam is FOAM! Get over it!

This is what i call constructive :) Thank you.

Yes i also recognize that. But you should know that we do not joined here only to sell something nor we think that everyone would be amazed.

We just hopped that we can elate one or two people here.
The anti-sympathy to TBS or Trappy is of course no problem and we dont wanted to harm anyone with this.

Yes ist unproven by the people here in this forum. Thats why i would be happy to sponsor one wing kit to a experienced FPV pilot, which makes a build log and some tests with our kit.

If some one is seriously interested you can write me at:

It does look pretty good in the video especially the flight time and slow speed handling but I only really have experience with quads so cant really comment too much on the way it looks to perform , I have just finished building my first wing a Teksumo and will probably build something with good endurance in the future for a bit more distance so will watch this thread as it develops.
I echo what xxpitt said aswell Mrben and Martink1974 are probably the best people to build fly and review wings if thats what your after they have loads of experience with building and flying all kinds of stuff.

Be sure my ears arent closed. Other people here are also able to ask questions in a fair and square way.

And all your other calculations - please keep them - they are quite unusable. If you own a company its up to you for adding VAT / TAX on invoices which are sold in the same Country / regions. As soon a delivery leaves the origin country to another region / country, we cant be responsible for any tax costs. Thats the same when you buy something in the USA. VAT / TAX will be added at border arrival of your destination country by your carrier.

Ok that sounds nice. If you can send me your full address data to: i will send you one kit so you can test it and write some feedback here as soon our first charge arrives.

Crickey
£160+ for a 912mm wingspan EPP foam kit, no motor, no servos, props, esc etc

That does seem comparatively very expensive

Never had a wing other than my Parkzone Stryker, not keen on the for FPV as I hate the yaw wagging

Think I'd get a Wicked Wing or a MS Composit Maxi Swift if I was to want a wing and spend the extra on a ballistic power train

You do not pay for 912mm foam :) If it was 1500mm foam it wouldnt be much more expensive. Its all the many material, the precuted parts and stuff like the nice rudder linkage or the battery bay with velcro strap.

I don't mind building one and doing a build log and honest video and performance review , im mostly into larger wings but the endurance of this seems very good. im sure we all do want to know how good this little wing is
