Accidentally descovered simply way to calibrate esc's by naze
« on: October 29, 2014, 12:33:11 AM »
think i have discovered easy and very fast way to calibrate esc's through the naze boared....

it all started when i was testing my motors one by one through the motor tab in baseflight when i had one motor spining at 50% my lipo came unplugged as i only had it loosely pluged in, anyway when i plugged it back and dropped the power back to bottom my motor done a final beep like calibration. so i though crap best recalibrate them all, rather than do it through cli, i unplugged lipo, pushed master control to max pluged lipo in got the calibration tune, then lowered master tab to min and got the final beep. if anyone would like to try it and confirm it can be done, or if there is any negatives to doing it this way that i might not have realised that would be awesome

You have to be real quick as it can calibrate before you have got slider down to bottom! Im sticking to the CLI method.

Been doing it that way for a while, can't claim originality though, saw it on youtube somewhere!

Edit: Also can't do that in MultiWii ez-gui for Android, no way to engage all motors!
