Author Topic: How to get simple copter to flip with Nase32 ? (Read 409 times)

Hey all, just been out with my newly built T copter with nase32 on board. It's unbelievably stable with standard pid. In fact I can't get it to flip or roll at all.

Can someone give me some pointers where to start changing values in base flight please. I have arm and a three position switch set up already.

up rc rate to 1.30
reduce expo to 0.3
up yaw rate to 0.6

Are you flying in angle mode? It won't flip in that mode need to change to manual or horizon. Also like Ben says up rc rate to get it to flip faster

Quick update - it will flip and roll now but not great . The roll has about a 7 foot diameter. Just keep upping rc rate ??

i have rc rate at 1.86 and that rolls it pretty fast, about 2 rolls a second maybe, so just up it to that if you like or if it sounds to much go to 1.5 or something,
