talking of mini hex's I saw this a while ago never really been tempted by a hex before but would like to try this

http://rctimer.com/product-1177.html

they sell the esc seperately aswell 4.3 grams for a 20 amp flashed with blheli would be good for a mini quad

Although the hobbyking looks loads lighter and would probably take a crash better, think I would be worried bout crashing the rctimer one, might have to try the esc's though. Just realised I prob should have put this in a different thread  ::)

I know not really comparable is it, would be good with 6 inch props and 2206 2000kv motors  ;D
Actually if you knock off the cost of the esc that are included = $66 the frame is only really $73 which is bout £45 so not too bad.

Yeah have seen them the hex looks like a pretty good copy of the blackout hex which is just mad expensive. The Blackout one I mean is expensive.

Hex's are a ball of fun to fly LOS and lasts a long time on a 2200mAh 3S battery.  Secret is still about keeping it light though! Loaded down with fpv gear the advantages start to dwindle, and props get broken more...
