its just an airframe, probably best to send a FJ up anyway, I gave the wing away as I didnt want it, I wanted a delta with a fuse, easier to work with, you can have this skyfun airframe if you want nowt wrong with it at all. Great plane, probably get another for him.

why you going to get another if theres nothing wrong with that one? would really like to get a wing in the air even if its a LOSer, was exciting the other day watching gav take his first steps into fixed wings. i flew a axn and very briefly a wot4 foam-e a long time ago but would be nice to get something again and eventually fpv it

Well I ripped all the tape and stickers off this morning to re-juvinate it and was left with a plane covered in adhesive, it looks a bit tired (and sticky) but re-tape it and fit some servo's/esc/motor & rx and away you go! However personally I couldnt be arsed trying to clean it up and would rather just buy a new airframe. Just glued the servo in the x5 now so that build is underway, but I do know it wont be as easy to launch or fly as well as the skyfun but its an brand new airframe sat around that needs to be used!

How big is the x5 ? It looks quite big saw a decent looking phantom go on eBay for £65 other day.think it just had servos and motor on it.

x5 is about 1000mm i think the skyfun is about 875mm the x5 is more of a wing/pod shape than a true delta style like the funjet or skyfun

wow 1000 metres thats gonna take some launching mate 

I've seen them before they are really nice looking always thought they were bigger than that though for some reason maybe because the x8 is massive.
