Haha moss side flying ghetto Fpv !
Didn't get up early today had too many beers last night  ::) when I did get up the wind has picked up a lot really strong gusts  probably flyable but don't think it would be much fun especially Fpv. So not gonna bother today gonna make some UHF antennas and put a better hatch on wing. Then watch motogp  ;D

Oh and I don't like flying without Dave aswell haha   :P
And the new nodave Fpv site is Barton moss loads of farmland right near me only prob is finding decent bit to fly from cos some of the farmers can be a bit pissed if you go on there land even if its an empty field with fuck all on it.
Will be great for wing though lots of big tree lined fields might have to go and speak to some of farmers and see if there cool with it.

All that farm and moss land must be some top flying places, i know a couple but will have to go and have a proper look for some good places to fly the wing click on earth view to see all the green bits  ;D

it does look good that, its not always obvious if you can get to some places though, or if they are still like on the maps, couple of times I have picked a place to go that looked good and turned up to find a recycling plant had been built on it or you just couldnt get there.

I used to fly there a lot good for minis lots of trees and paths but always dogwalkers there, and the trees are really dense now. there is a little carpark at the top just under where it says moss road and you used to be able to fly down the path in the middle all the way to the end through the trees, I reckon with a patch antenna or crosshair to punch through some of the trees it would be perfect for a mini racing course.
