so got rc timer gimbal flashed with alex moss firmware, thanks to smit80
just got my sj4000 so thought i'd give it a blast, but the real time data isn't responding, anybody know what could be wrong? also gimbal isn't trying to do anything just vibrating, no funky chicken or anything. thinking maybe i've busted the sensor somehow

Got it working now thanks Ben. Don't know what i was doing wrong. Seems to work very well. Only thing is from power up takes ages to centre itelf. But ones its there looks good. It heads towards level OK just the last few deg takes about a minute. Only on power up or if I knock gimbal off centre by hand. When its just keeping itself level its fine

ok so got gimbal working ok for now, but trying to add pitch control to a dial and cant get it to work, here's what i tried.
set channel 10 on tx to source p1, as i read somewhere p1,p2,p3, are the dials on 9xr. in ezuhf i set servo ch4 to be ppm ch 10, connected rx channel4 to a2 pins on the rctimer gimbal board as read somewhere this is the pitch control pins. in alex moss gui, this is where i started guessing, i set command to be ext pitch but it ask for channel 1-8 o tried every one but nothings happening, anyone now what to do?

Well was thinking that. But thought how should the gimbal controller know what channel signal is coming from. I thought maybe the Alex moss controller had 8 channels you can send signal into and it was asking for which one you was using. But I'm using rc timer gimbal flashed with Alex moss an and it only has 3 channels you can use. But will try that later just in case

no joy tried channel 8 and the same, there is one thing though when i set the source to analog. in the real time data it scrolling through the min to max and on the pitch dial display thing the blue arrow just spins around the dial really fast so camera starts jurking up and down
when source is set to pwm or ppm-sum the real time data says its receiving nothing at all
