Acro Naze and BT adapter
« on: July 29, 2014, 08:16:37 PM »
Hi All

I picked up a BT adapter from Mr Ben to try and simplify tuning my acro naze board and hot a few issues.

I cant get the BT adapter to speak to the naze.  Tried 9600 baud and 115200 and swapped the rx/tx pins, but my iphone just wont see a new BT device (is iOS a no-no?)

Any thoughts, or can you point me to an idiots trouble shooting guide?  I have done a lot of searching, but to no avail......

thanks in advance

Alec

Are you supplying 5v and GND? Does the red LED come on?

Ios might be the problem , many things don't work unless the device is jail broken and you  install extra Bluetooth libs , had many issues with ios bt data transfer devices

Thanks Martin - suspect it is me being too hopeful with ios

I thought any BT device could be seen by anything with BT......perhaps not.

I was hoping to use Multiwii configurator (https://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/multiwii-configurator/id735311586?mt=8)

What program do I need to use and could a PC run it?  (no android devices here.......)

thanks in advance

That should be right  but apple are sods with some things that app seems to support some Bluetooth dongle thing , and kind of looks like it should work but there are no revise saying it does, if an apple devices is jail broken you would have no problem

I've got a bt thing for reading fault codes on my car and apple devices won't pair with it , same with many GPS devices

Sorry could not help more

See if any friend have an old android phone , but the cheapest option is get a minim osd then you can change pids on the screen you fly from

Look at kvosd / mwosd thread
