Joining Squad Spanky
« on: June 24, 2014, 04:51:32 PM »
Thanks to xxpitt and Mr.Ben I'm joing the Spanky Squad ;)

Got allmost all the kit together today, only short a VTX. So the build began!.

Great Kit and its good to see that there are enough standoff parts to build multiple configurations.

Got to the end and got the first flight in the dining room! Being new to Naze (Always been a Naza guy) I was surprised how well it flew with the stock PID's!

Second flight....not too good. I'm pretty sure I got a dodgy 10A ESC from goodluckbuy grrr!!! The thing starts occasionally but is red hot...

Just ordered a Birdie ESC from HobbyKing UK, do you guys think I'll have issues mixing ESC's?

Welcome to the gang!

I wouldnt consider mixing escs however it would probably work as a short term solution

Repalcemnt RCX ESC's came at last!!! Already had a few dining room adventures.

555g in total, 2.4RX and 5.8vtx, I had to use normal servo connectors in a lot of the places as I'm going to go 1.2 video eventually and didnt fancy desoldering everything.

I'm really surprised how stable the Naze is!

I was flying through the doorway into the living room on like the third flight.
