Things to note are where you makes a big difference
but make sure the rest of your gear can do it before trying this and there are no guarantees you will get that far!

Not sure, but I thought the power output on the US version of FASST was higher than the 100mW we have here in the UK ?
Best I know off to date is 1.87km LOS @ about 778m alt on a 617 RX

It's 10mW we have here. It would be 100mW in the US.

Ah well my Glider 3.6 meter we got to about 1250 meters on the R6014s r/x last summer
The Vario was saying the height in meters but 1250 meters is a long way up
yup the Yanks to out put a bit more power than us but still I recon it should do a decent range here as well... better than spektrum by any means
