Well mine arrived today but I can't get it to work - I have plumbed power into distribution board and selected ch3 on Rx and tx and I just get a mess of an image. It's there but only just. Any ideas where I'm going wrong - hope this isn't faulty :-(

Nope they are both racewood yellow label - can only get a crappy black and white pic - just gone through all channels with all variations I think - no luck

I had this... It said it was a yellow but wasn't. Try channel 2 I think then try all on your law mate. I think the channel I found is on switch B

I here ya - trouble is they are both supposedly yellow racewood so I guess I am knackered. Hope drone vision will respond - I've emailed them.

Must be a batch problem. I got 2 vtx from them a week apart and both where labeled yellow but I think are in fact red as there is only one channel I can get it on with the lawmate rx.  I didn't contact them though as it works and that's all that matters for me.

Scratch that - did some research and answered it :-)

Where do you guys buy your 1.2g gear from ?

What did you find?

I've looked around too as I'm gonna be 2.4 Futaba and 1.2 vtx in the next month or so and have read mixed opinions. Iv'e already got the lowpass 1.2 filter lol infact thats the only 1.2 peice of gear I have yet haha

I use frsky 2.4 and 1.3 video on my 450 quad using a lowpass filter with no problems I have flown just short of a kilometre before frsky started beeping like mad, with a lowpass filter and plenty of separation between RX and vtx you should be fine. I also had it on my mini quad for a while but even with the lowpass  filter the 1.3tx hammered the range of the frsky because they were so close, it was still flyable but the range was loads less.

Well my lawmate Rx arrived today and would you believe works great with the tx drone vision sent me. - cheers papa !

Have to say Drone Vision, for me, have been really really bad. It's been over two weeks and I have had one email saying have you plugged it in right. Now they just ignore my emails which is frustrating the life out of me. Would be interested if anyone else had poor service with a problem - me I won't be ordering from them again in a hurry - to coin a phrase from my dad - I would rather boil my arse :-(

Well I never had a problem with them so havent been able to sample their after sales service before.

I have actually started using the 400mw 1.2 readymaderc VTX now, once removed from the big heavy green heatshrink they are the same weight and they have a handy button and display to cycle through the channels without using the dipswitches.
