Interesting concept, not sure how it would perform for FPV, but I bet its fun trying to find out.

Never heard of a 3D fixed pitch multi before but Curtis Youngblood made the first 3d one using collective pitch, much more responsive different tech though, this one relies on reversing the motors which is never going to be as quick as reversing the pitch

Yeah I seen some one do it but the weren't confident enough doing it mid flight so the started quad off upside down to show it could be done. Then on that video above some one posted a link to a video of someone else doing it

I guess it's alright, though the Stingray looks like a better 3d aircraft, though the Invertix is simpler. I heard those bi-directional props have shite efficiency.

I bought myself one of these this week but will be upgrading to the 4cell firmware straight away. The props are pretty inefficient, particularly with 3cell, but hey I can learn some new moves without stuffing my 570 heli :-)

don't think you loose too much efficiency maybe 15 percent  not much realy when your at the bleeding edge , most efficient propeller is supposedly a single blade with counter weight but who uses those, pretty sure its more the twist the props are missing towards the end of the prop where they loose it , but does a heli blade have this blade no its a flat blade , but it changes its pitch throughout rotation , fixed pitch is always gunna be a compromise somewhere but much less moving parts

The kit is really nice quality , it will be interesting to see how the nanowii compares to the nase32. Might be fun to Fpv it at some stage.

Nah - it won't arm :-)

Tried everything, end points, different aux channels to arm the nanowii. Nothing seems to work.

Tried to load the GUI to see what was going on but my windows 8 laptop can't find a driver for the FC.

Only get a solid red light but when I test the motors and esc separately they work fine. Bummer !

Just a thought here ants I got a 200qx few months back , it was sposed to be throttle bottom left , but after much frustration I could only seem to get it to arm by waggling both sticks inwards and out wards t bottom,

It actually ended up being that I was trying to fly the thing backwards where I thought was the front was the back , once I did this and reversed Chans o. Radio it would arm fine

This is a bit weird. Instructions say to set up as a heli and use idle up switch to arm the motors. I am not mad keen on the nanowii may swap it out for a nase.

How do you like the 200qx ? I heard that people had been flashing new firmware on tho that for inverted flight .

Well after a great deal of head scratching, loading Google Crome GUIs etc etc it turns out that my nanowii FC that had been shipped for use witha spektrum satallite had actually been shipped for use with a Futaba Rx !!

All works now and is nice and stable. First thoughts are that it's a keeper but will need some serious stick banging to perform 3d like a heli.
