Naze 32 Acro £21.95 ----- Blue Tooth Module £9
« on: March 17, 2014, 05:11:58 PM »
I have received a batch of the latest revision v5 Naze 32 Acro boards

Price is £21.95
P&P is £2 for 1st class recorded

Awesome flight controller flies like its on rails, very very impressed with it and I have flown Naza, Copter Control, KK2.0, Copter Control 3d, Wookong and this is my favorite so far! Demo video shows how smooth it can be but it is also very acrobatic too and has some really great features like 'horizon' mode (where you can still do flips and rolls but it auto levels when you centre sticks. For mine I bought a bluetooth adaptor from ebay for £7 and I have an app on my android phone for adjusting all the settings they can also be adjusted with the GUI on a PC. So far all I have needed to do is tweak yaw PID and up rates a little.

Quadcopter footage of Burtonwood Omega DESTRUCTION!

I also found this video very helpful

I will also be selling compatible Blue Tooth adaptors for NAZE board these will be pre-configured ready to just plug in!

When bought elsewhere these adaptors do not come with the correct BAUD rate set and you would require a USB>TTL adaptor to configure (different from a esc/kk2 flasher)

Pre-configured Naze Bluetooth Adaptor - £9

I have successfully been using Multiwii EZ-GUI and also Naze32 Configurator on my Android phone.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ezio.multiwii

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.naze32.configurator

4 Wires run between the Naze and the BT Adaptor :5v, GND, TX & RX (wires not supplied)

Some useful information :

RC Expo, 0<->1 Just like TX expo on stick input vs rc output curve...can be used in addition to or in place of expo on both ail and elev (0.65 default)

RC Rate, 0<->? Increases stick sensitivity of requested axis roll and pitch rates, 1 is normal (0.9 usual default), increasing it makes any stick input command more gyro roll or pitch rates..like increasing TX throws on both channels

Pitch/Roll Rate, 0<->1 Reduces P pid terms for pitch and roll as stick is moved away from center, making rolls and flips faster...0= no reduction, 1= no pid loop corrections at full stick (totally unstable!)

Yaw Rate, 0<->1 Reduces P pid terms for yaw as stick is moved away from center, making pirouettes faster...0= no reduction, 1= no pid loop corrections at full stick (totally unstable!)

TPA, 0<->1 Decreases roll/pitch P terms above 50% throttle....0 no reduction, 1 reduction to 0....not very useful except in planes where faster, sometimes create oscillations due to increased control surface effectiveness....in a quad, will make it unstable as you punch the throttle
