Any body got any ideas? I have got a new (from BEVRC) Cyclops storm osd but no matter how long I leave it sat outside it will not find any satellites! I have had one of these before and never had any problems.

Most likely a bad connection on one of the pins in the GPS cable
Failing that possibly a VTX too close to the GPS antenna

I have tried another gps module on it and it picks up the satellites within a few seconds, put mine back on and nothing!
Could it be something to do with the battery on the gps antenna? or is that just a back up?

Did you use your original GPS cable with the alternattive module or did you use the cable that came with the other GPS module ?
Just trying to eliminate the cable as a potential issue

It was the original cable that came wit it, only the module it self was changed so it would indicate an issue with the module it self? Is there anything to check with it, or tested? or is it a case of chuck it in the bin?

Apparently some goods GPS units have been sent out wired incorrectly
Sorry everyone
Our cable factory make mistake, some GPS cable are wrong, please follow the picture change the cable.
This problem causes OSD unable to connect GPS, but it will not cause any damage
It's not the cable Jake as Ian has fitted another GPS unit using the same cable and it worked fine
I guess then it is indeed a faulty GPS unit, you can try the battery contacts but I doubt that will be the cause
When I had trouble with a Breeze Pro getting a lock it was because the GPS was getting wipred out by the VTX, odd that it never happend with otehr GPS units on the same quad

Thanks for the suggestion but the cable seems fine. Also I have tried another GPS antenna plugged in to my cable and it works fine! BEVRC are sending me another GPS unit so hope that sorts it. Will post the results.
