Why is gravity stronger over water ?

Hey all - thought I would start a little thread on a type of multicopter I have always wanted to try. Found this bicopter on a typical random search and thought why the hell not ! Size wise it is 500mm long and 500mm from motor to motor. I think the frame is quite expensive for what it is but on closer inspection the bearings that make the arms revolve are spot on.
Frame went together in 10mins and is really good quality. I've decided not to skimp on cheepo servos and gone for some metel gear hitec ones. I have a kk2.0 lying about so I will give that a go. I can't seem to get the flash tool to work with windows 8 though if any one can help ?
Rc wise I'm gonna throw in a Frsky receiver and see how that performs with my Taranis.
I believe it is designed for 9 x 6 three blade props but I have a couple of rc timer carbon 10 x 5s knocking about so will try them first. Also ordered a couple of 1200kv rc timer motors and Simonk esc's so I will see how they perform.

It's about 500 heli size so my plan is to try and fit a cobra fuz or similar at some point ! If it ever flys :-)

Came across the first problem with the bicopter tonight. Servo screws just go straight through the frame with no bite on. They need a backing plate but I can't find any for mini servos. My solution - cut down old servo arms and use those - should be ok - any thoughts ?

Hey guys - does anyone know why v1.6 of the kk2 firmware shows both motors going in the same direction on a bicopter. I am confused and not sure if I need 2 clockwise props ?

slowing one motor down to yaw would just cause that side to drop... it's not like a quadcopter where they slow 2 down and speed 2 up, therefore generating the same total amount of lift.
to yaw, a bicopter tilts one motor one way, and the other the opposite way.
With the motors spinning the same way, yes there will be some torque yaw effect, but the KK's gyros will detect this and tilt the rotors opposite to each other as I've described above to counteract the torque yaw.
Hope this answers your questions mate, good luck with the build... looks really interesting.

This is also how a tricopter can be built with all 3 props spinning the same way, the tail rotor tilts to counteract the torque yaw effect.
