Aren't carbon frames problematic with signal interference?  Seems stupid to ask as there are so many around so I guess not, but I thought with us relying on vtx feed as well as rc control etc it might be such that it would cause blockages of the signal?  Particularly if you have a bigger fram?

Have you guys had any problems - should I forget about it? Does the problem not actually exist (in any real world application?)

Let me know what you think so that when I win the lottery and buy one - I  know what I'm letting myself in for!

thanks

Rick

Hi Everyone,

FYI.....I am stocking CarbonCore frames and will be putting together complete kits for anyone interested.

These are great frames, beautifully made entirely in the UK and I'm currently testing their Quad 650mm for the first complete kit package.

CC have sold every single frame from their first major rpoduction run in just a few days - more willbe along in about 4 weeks. I have one 650mm quad frame available as a complete kit, which will include only good quality componenets - no cheap motors! We're looking a Tiger which I flew for the first time at the weekend and their great - really smooth - you can actually hear the difference!

Feel free to get in touch for more info!

Best!
Alex

Hi Rick,

Your right that carbon fibre can affect signals, but so can ali which is also in common use in these frames.

But as long as your aerial placement is right, it won't cause you a problem. And from a strength and stiffness verses weight point of view, it's a no brainer for airframes. Cost however......well that's life, you get what you pay for!

Best!

Thanks Alex.

I'm not sure why I thought it might be a problem but what you say makes sense. Well placed airial I guess will overcome any problems.
