if you are new to quads then a naza will help you out a lot naza with gps makes it even easier it has great self level, good altitude control (wont drop like a stone when you decrease throttle) and if you get one with GPS it wont drift with the wind when you let go of the sticks, it will just sit there. If you want to be thrown in at the deep end then get a KK2.1 and be prepared to fly the quad yourself! I use a kk2.0 (2.1 only just come out) although it has self level you still got a lot more to control compared to a naza but its a hell of a lot cheaper too.

I agree NAZA is great as an all rounder and perfect for beginners.

I use the Naza lite. Great for the money, I know of two people who have lost their quads lately due to them pushing the rc limits but Naza would have saved them both. It only has to save your model once and it has paid for itself. I am hopeless when it comes to computers and setting up complicated equipment so the Naza was ideal for me as it is so easy to set up. Hope this helps.

Not tried Naza yet, but the amount of flyaways reported is worrying.

i had naza lite on a RCTimer F450 clone... worked great until one day when it just crashed... seemed as though the motors all just stopped at the same time and it dropped out of the sky. Luckily, it crashed into some soft wet muddy ground so there wasn't much damage.

I re-incarnated all the electronics, including the naza lite, into a TBS Disco frame.... same story, worked great for a few weeks, then inexplicably dropped out of the sky.

I'll never trust NAZA products ever again, which is a shame as I was thinking about buying the phantom which comes with NAZA V2 inside. I've seen far too many videos of DJI Phantoms flying away that I just dont have any faith in them.

Blade 350QX will be the next quad for me.

As for flight controller... The best performing ones I've had have been the CopterControl and the KK2.0
