Anyone using Ez UHF with 459 mHz ?
« on: January 03, 2014, 04:08:33 PM »
Just read this 459 mhz is UK Legal

so wondered if anyone has any experience?

plus, of course, you need a second frequency to match the range
so what do you do?

I have used it, and it worked fine, but it also limits your power to 100mw so I switched back to 435-437.

No I didn't, never had a failsafe. I don't really fly distance tho. More close and low.

I'm using 459 with my OrangeRX and I wasn't aware it reduces power output and think with that in mind I will change back to 433.. Not reached the range limits on 459 though and am using a Moxon on TX and Dipole on RX.

I think the reduced power output is specific to ezuhf not orange rx

That's good to know. Should make use of the 1000mw :)
