nice and neat but surely the 400 is a bush dodging quad so more to break in a crash..
gimbals for AV work...in my opinion........

Thats the point brod. When your bush dodging take gimbal off. When your ilming scenery and landmarks put it on. Saves carrying two quads around and different sized lipos

IMO, no gimbal for filming fpv flights and gimbal for filming subjects, probably a small percentage of cross over in the middle

Finally this has been released ( a month or so ago) and now that my 250 mini is getting all the bush dodging action I have ordered the qav400 gimbal so the qav has a new lease of life.
So what controller do I need guys?

Mine has Alex moss , was easy to set up, is that not what they recommend
There lots cheaper , than when I got mine , need to check mounting hole spacing for board and sensor
Some really pretty cheap ones on ebay , this seems to have all whistles mine has

I've got the EvvGC controller, it's cheap, 3d (although multi's only need 2D), easy to flash.
I works ok, but haven't used it enough to be able to offer any advice!
Half built a gimbal for a Mobious and shelved it. I'm not much interested in gimbals or fancy video so it'l stay on the back burner for a while I expect!
