what frequency control then? 1.1? will video image not be worse on uhf? might not be so bad on ur wings but buzzing around trees with your qav u might need a clearer picture

I think Range Video UHF will operate around the same frequency as EZUHF ie 433mhz, I think I have 4 ezuhf rx Chris, the RV UHF is going to be built into the OSD modules, infact if you order RVOSD gen6 now its the same price as gen 5.1 and they will send you a free RX (that solders to the OSD) as soon as they are ready. In future they will be prefitted. They are also bringing out a 'lite' version of RVOSD.

only problem with this is antenna gunna be horizontal if you hold your tx flat,unless a 90 degree adapter could be fitted which might not let the antenna clear top of tx.
i'll stick to my empty 35meg module case with uht tx glued to it.
