Dodgy LiPo crashed my quad

Last week, whilst parallel charging my quad LiPos my charger came up with "break in connection" 10 minutes into the charge.
I checked all connections and they were fine, so put them back on charge and they seemed to charge up fine... thought nothing of it.
At the weekend, I was flying my quad and all was well, some spectators arrived and I brought it in for a LiPo change and to give some passenger flights.
2 minutes into the second passenger flight, the quad just dropped out of the sky... no warning, no naza misbehaviour... just a complete loss of power, as if the LiPo had been unplugged.
I assumed it was my own fault for being in a rush and not plugging in the XT60 properly
So last night, I finally got around to charging up the LiPo from the crash, a few minutes into the charge and the charger beeped again, stating "break in connection" yet again.
I got my multimeter out, put the probes into the LiPo discharge plug and fiddled around with the wires a bit, tapping the LiPo and moved it around a bit... lo and behold... the voltage dropped to zero when the LiPo was in various positions.
So it looks like I got a duff one, I'm not one to rip the heatshrink off and check the wiring/connections of the individual cells and it was cheap enough from hobbyking, so I just binned it instead.
So I wasn't a biff after all, the flippin LiPo crashed my quad!!
