back on the issue of the FX-79 being expensive... yup it is, unfortunately it will stay like that unless someone buys a shed load of these models for UK distribution to allieviate the shipping burden. But then we would end up paying tax on it, subsidising the original shipping cost for the bulk order to the UK, shipping from the UK distro centre to our home, and a bit of profit on top to make it all worth while for the UK distributor.

My guess is it would end up costing more in the long run

I had a few conversations with the sales team when this was originally released. They could not lower the shipping costs at all, and even offered to lower the price of the airframe itself in return for a video review. I couldn't do it at the time due to lack of FPV equipment, so couldn't take them up on the offer.

If you think about it, $155 is only around £100 which isn't really a bad price for a large airframe like this.
